Sica - Partially Function Stub download free

PARTIALLY FUNCTION STUB was Sica's only album, and it has all the titchy IDM that you'd expect from Neo Ouija, but the altered guitar meandering and abstract on "Mixersuptime" adds some flavor and helps give the stuttering "Goomp" more structure. But the swell of voices that introduces "Notarmata" gives way to typical IDM noodling, but the delicacy of "Zentr" offers a near-ambient experience to contrast with the industrial textures of "Moople Tape Dup" that finally resolve into something like a song. But wandering about seems to be the name of the game here, and "Wuzzabnin" fills its run time with plenty of fiddly bits that don't quite add up. A childlike wonder pops into "Rollingrunnhannglide" before it seems to drift off of its own accord, and the focus that starts off "un Won 1 On Dons Lawn" soon peters out. The dense whirring midway through "18Wheelerdeluxe" comes off like a mechanical hive, while "Dontbeveryloud" keeps a more steady rhythm. Interesting overall, if a bit too unfocused.
